When Colin graduated from West Point and joined the US Army, he never expected to make it a career—but he did. He also never expected a return tour at West Point teaching cadets English Literature, or later teaching strategic leadership to post-graduates at National Defense University. Much less helping the Cable News Network start CNN.com. But somehow, all that became part of his story. Along the way he had “muddy boots” assignments leading field artillery soldiers. After the US Army had enough of him, he figured he was qualified to help leaders build winning teams. So that’s what he’s been doing for the past ten years.

Colin claims he has learned more about leadership and communications from raising five children than from any other experience.
